A roll a day,shooting with Seba …

I’ve found this great project on Flickr ,a roll of film shot in one day ‘duds’ and all.I missed out on the other day when they launched there first one and I feel compelled to do it on my own anyway! This is the group if you want to get involved in the next roll a day.

This is a link to Anthony Barnishes roll of film from 24.3 that he submitted.

Ive been out shooting today with the legendary Seba Kurtis and his lovely assistant (can you believe!!??)
This was set up through my Creative Exposures facebook group.
Hes given me a great insight into how he shoots and also ideas for my own projects.I wanted to do a roll of film to record today but instead I have recorded my day on my Iphone..

Ive also found this lovely competition and Facebook group called

Foyer Youth Collective

Foyer Youth Creative Photography Competition

The competition can be entered by anyone. Please take note of the few rules we have.

1.SHOT MUST BE AGAINST A WALL

2.ONE ENTRY PER PERSON

3.LOCATION OF SHOT

4.ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF MODEL AND CAMERA USED MUST BE STATED IN CAPTION

5. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO PROVE OWNERSHIP OF THE PHOTOGRAPH

There is a term ‘Wallin’ made up by Matthew Comer.

Wallin’ is a style of photography that’s been used for a long

long time. Matthew coined the phrase years ago as a way to easily

explain a shoot with his models and people instantly got hooked

on the saying. Shooting against every type of surface whilst

trying to avoid the expensive costs of hiring studio space,

Matthew has generated a huge body of work. A romantic, sexy, kick

in the balls set of photographs with immense attitude. Full of

fun and void of inhibitions. He’s made the white wall look a lot

sexier!

I had a film developed today and I am sad to say they didn’t work,if you have any suggestions why they didn’t work please email me 🙂 jenniferbrookes86@hotmail.com.
I still kind of like the photos anyway.
I’ve got a few exciting projects lined up,revelations in due time!

I think something is going on with the film there..
